About ADOT

INTRODUCTION

ADOT (Androse Disability Organization Tanzania)

Androse Disability Organization Tanzania (ADOT) started initially operating as a social enterprise originated with the view of dignifying the lives of the Most Vulnerable Persons With Disabilities (MVPWDs) in Tanzania and beyond; the lives which seem not having a voice to systematically and consistently air-out their views and to honor the challenges facing them.

Dr. Virpi Mesiäislehto’s Endorsement: Celebrating Rosemary Choma’s Transformative Leadership and ADOT’s Impact

It is with great respect and admiration that I provide this reference for Rosemary Choma, the founder and Managing Director of the Androse Disability Organization Tanzania (ADOT). Their focus on community sensitization and empowering women and girls with disabilities through innovative, research-based interventions has not only brought about significant positive change but also set a benchmark for disability advocacy in Tanzania.

WoW you guys have a lot. I have known ADOT since 2022 during the time ADOT had no funders but was ready to volunteer from own source to advocate on disability rights on social media platforms. To summarize this reflection I can put down the key areas I see as follows: commitment of leadership, passionate for disability and women empowerment, networking and advocacy. Well done ADOT!
