Career Guidance and Training

The Guidance and Counselling Program aims to equip students and youths with the knowledge and skills necessary to realize their passions and make the right career choices. It provides a wide range of career information, including higher education institutions, program entry qualifications, application procedures, and selection criteria. Activities such as self-assessment are administered to help develop personal skills and make informed decisions. The program includes workshops and visits to secondary schools, offering students opportunities to meet various professionals and inspirational speakers. One-to-one counselling sessions guide youth before enrolling them in a continuous mentorship package if needed. The Youth Counselling and Mentorship (YCM) program nurtures youth potentials towards career development, offering job shadowing, internships, and volunteering opportunities. The first approach involves office meetings where students are guided through activities to develop their career paths and may choose to receive ongoing mentorship for managing their career transitions and dynamics.
